资源简介:
Five pieces of groundstone collected during the 1987, 1988, and 1991
excavations at Crescent Lake Campground were examined for pollen. This two component lithic scatter included obsidian tool fragments, flakes, groundstone,
and fragmented projectile points. Artifacts were recovered from the pre-Mazama
paleosol, from a Mazama ash/pumice level, and from unprovenienced locations at
the site. These five pieces of groundstone were washed to recover pollen and
starch granules that might be adhering to these tools as a result of their
prehistoric use.
