Entries in these volumes record: registered number; name; mounted or foot; age; height; colour eyes/hair; native place; marital status; calling; religion; general appearance; district; date of appointment to each rank; date of leaving force and cause. Entries are arranged chronologically within each letter of the alphabet.Information in these volumes is similar to that recorded in the series NRS 10953, Register of men transferred to districts (8/3254) and the series NRS 10945, Registers of police (7/6213, 8/3255-64).
