This dataset includes GRACE intersatellite range rate postfit residuals for 2008 and 2014. Two versions are included, namely GOT56p2 and GOT56p3. The only difference is the background ocean tide model, where the former uses constant seawater density while the latter uses geographically varying seawater density.
The related publication "Recent Ocean Tide Models Comparison from the GRACE Perspective" is still under review. More details about this dataset can be found in this publication.
Additional MATLAB code that can be used to estimate residual ocean tide signal in also included.
Data Format:
column 1: UTC time past 2000.0 (2000/01/01 00:00:00) in second
column 2: range rate postfit residual in m/s
column 3,4: latitude and longitude of first satellite in earth-fixed frame
column 5,6: latitude and longitude of second satellite in earth-fixed frame
