Intercommunality: Areas of competence for the collection and treatment of municipal waste in Indre

An EPCI whatever its form may have competence in the collection of waste AND/OR Treatment facility assigned by its statutes (General Code of Territorial Communities — articles L2224-13 to L2224-17 of the CGCT). This competence may include the collection and/or treatment of municipal waste. A municipality that is a member of an EPCI may choose to: (delegating that competence) to another public institution or body- to retain that competence. This creates “areas of competence” different from the administrative boundaries of the EPCI. This layer brings together the defined areas of competence in waste collection and treatment that exist on a department on a given date.
