VPRS 17603 Yarram and District Public Halls Association, Minutes, Correspondence, Financial Statements and Plans

The Yarram and District Public Halls Association was constituted in 1956. The purpose of the Association was to provide public halls in the Township of Yarram for the use of the residents of Yarram and the surrounding district within the municipality of the Shire of Alberton. The inaugural meeting of the Association was held on 26 April 1956. At that meeting a draft of the proposed constitution was presented for consideration. At the meeting of 18 May 1965 it was moved and resolved that the Association be dissolved.This series includes minutes, correspondence, financial statements and plans relating to the activities of the Association. The plans relate to the Regent Theatre, Yarram.The series ended with the dissolution of the Association. However, the contents include plans of the Regent Theatre for the period 1997-1998.
