Introduction to Ecology in the classroom; A study on hair colour and gender of York University students

Methods:In order to assess the relationship between hair colour and gender, 24 human subjects were surveyed..The survey was situated inside room 118 in the Lumbers Building at York University (43.7735⁰N, 79.5019⁰W)The weather on Thursday September 15 was sunny and warm. Surveyors recorded the subjects in individual notebooks. No formal equipment was needed to perform this study.<br>Hypothesis - The hair colour of Males and Female subjects in the study will have similar frequencies because common hair colours are shared amongst both sexes. Hair colour is not a sex linked gene and sex of the subject will not have an effect on the subjects hair colour<br>Predictions1.Brown hair will be the most common haircolour amongst both sexes2. Blonde and Red hair will be the least common air colours amongst both sexes3. True hair colour varies very little amongst subjects<br>Group members: Krysten, Ava, Vanessa and Monica<br>
