Pseudomonas stutzeri SDM (CCTCC No. M 206010) has the capability to efficiently oxidize 2-hydroxy acids to 2-keto acids, such as pyruvic acid and 2-oxobutyrate. Here we report the draft genome sequence of this organism, which can facilitates us to investigate key genes and explore further applications of it.
