In 2021, global users spent approximately 3.76 billion U.S. dollars on live streaming apps, up by approximately 57 percent compared to the previous year. In recent years, spending on the leading live streaming mobile apps across iOS and Google Play has experienced a constant increase, with the global outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic contributing to the 177 growth in consumer spending on apps from this category between 2019 and 2020.
