Digital Surface Models (DSMs) of the Loire River mudflat (2 km²) acquired on October 10 and November 9, 2022

Digital Surface Models (DSMs) of the study area surveyed by drone on October 10 and November 9, 2022.Each pixel contains the elevation value corresponding to the terrain at the time of the mission. These DSMs were generated from 1,356 images (October 10) and 1,288 RGB images (November 9), acquired using the RTK eBee X drone and the S.O.D.A 3D camera, with a resolution of 2.9 cm/pixel. The surveyed area covers 1.95 km² in October and 1.56 km² in November. The campaign was conducted on October 10 and November 9, 2022, for Xavier Bertin (LIENSs) to measure morphological changes. The drone acquisitions were carried out by Nicolas Lachaussée from the LIENSs UMR Drone Platform. Photogrammetric processing was performed by Natacha Volto (LIENSs) using Agisoft Metashape software. The vertical accuracy (RMSZ(October) = 4.108 cm and RMSZ(November) = 3.558 cm was calculated using 50 control points in October and 36 in November, randomly distributed across the study area. It is derived from the vertical difference for each control point between the value measured with the DGPS SP80 and the value extracted from the photogrammetry-generated DSM.
