Koala (Phascolarctos cinereus) urogential and ocular microbiota and its association with Chlamydia infections. urogenital metagenome and eye metagenome

This study describe the microbiota composition of ocular and urogenital sites in free-ranging koalas from south-eastern Queensland, Australia. Utilising this cohort of koalas we investigated the contribution of koala urogenital and ocular microbiota to naturally occurring Chlamydia pecorum infection.
