Reformācija kā paradigma Rietumu civilizācijas renesansei

Religion in view of scholars of civilization theory is its main element. Christianity has given fundamental contribution towards the development of the Western civilization. Reformation, thanks to M. Luther’s theological creativity renewed the Church, which was able to positively influence the whole of the Western civilization. Although some civilization theories predict the downfall of the Western civilization, it by creative usage of the heritage of the Reformation should not perish but renew itself spiritually.
