Rate of underage marriage among young women in India 2020

According to UN Women, nearly three out of ten women aged between 20 and 24 years in India were married or in union before age 18 as of December 2020. Meanwhile, approximately 6.6 percent of these young women were in underage marriage arrangements before the age of 15.

根据联合国妇女署的数据，截至2020年12月，印度20至24岁年龄段的女性中，近三分之二在18岁之前已结婚或处于婚姻状态。与此同时，大约有6.6%的年轻女性在15岁之前便已步入未成年婚姻的行列。
