EST sequencing. Blumeria hordei DH14

The Agencourt Bioscience Corporation generated EST sequences for Blumeria graminis f. sp. hordei. A mixture of 5' and 3' EST reads were obtained from 6 cDNA libraries to give a total of 34572 reads. The libraries were prepared from different tissues and stages of infection: conidia, cleistothecia, epiphytic mycelium at 20 hours, 3 days and 6 days post innoculation, and infected barley epidermis. Over 90% of these ESTs can be mapped to the current genome. The ESTs identify more then 3600 unigenes.
