Spatial distribution of housing support facilities – Flanders – 2015

This map shows the distribution of housing support facilities in Flanders. These are benefits linked to the dwelling function. Examples include bakers, butchers, supermarkets, cafés or restaurants, clothing shops, but also services such as post offices, bank offices, town halls, or accessible neighbourhood green, liberal professions, etc. For the overview and location of the entities that are part of the housing support facilities, data from three main sources are used: Verrijkte Kruispunt bank van Ondernemingen, AGIV’s opening point, other sources in administrations. Of course, sufficient attention is paid to the mixed use of the data from the multiple sources in order to avoid double counting to the maximum extent possible. The facilities were located in Flanders. Thus, for border areas, there may be a slight deviation from the level of provision.
