Dataset for Service Restoration Studies in a Power Distribution System Addressing the Transient Behavior of Synchronous Machines

This release comprises a fictional 405-bus radial power distribution system. The power system was designed based on a real 136-bus distribution system (available here).  The test system is composed of 3 feeders, 97 switches (among sectionalizing and tie switches), and has 4 distributed generators. This dataset can be employed in short-circuit analysis, service restoration optimization, and islanding operation assessment considering the synchronous machines' stability aspect.
