Transcriptome sequencing of Mytilus trossulus

Marine mussels (Mytilus trossulus) were collected from the Vostok Bay of the Sea of Japan.The spawning of sexually mature specimens was induced by thermal shock. Developing embryos were cultivated at 17°C, harvested at different developmental stages, including fertilized eggs, cleaving embryos, and larvae, up to the early veliger. Also, some cells and tissues of adult mollusks were used for preparing sequencing libraries.
