Using RNA sequencing, we produced a spatiotemporal transcriptome based on 65 samples. Then, we constructed a weighted gene co-expression network of these three Vitis species and defined 17 modules which were correlated to anthocyanins concentrations, developmental stages and species. Overall design: V. Acerifolia and V. Cinera were sunlight-independent anthocyanins accumulation grapes while V. Labrusca were sunlight-dependent grape. We constructed a co-expression network to explore sunlight dependent and sunlight-independent anthocyanins accumulation in grape fruits.
