VPRS 18834 Secretary's Reports, Bendigo and District Hospital Contributory Fund

This series comprises folders of reports covering the activities and decisions, mainly finance related, of the Bendigo & District Hospital Contributory Fund Committee. The Fund was established in 1945 by the Bendigo and Northern District Base Hospital (VA 1264) to provide cash benefits towards hospital costs for contributors or their dependents who were admitted to any registered hospital within Victoria. Management of the fund was vested in a committee of five members elected annually by and from the Committee of Management of the Bendigo and Northern District Base Hospital. The hospital secretary acted as secretary to the Contributory Fund Committee.
