MAR databases

The MAR databases is a collection of manually curated marine microbial contextual and sequence databases, based at the Marine Metagenomics Portal. This was developed as a part of the ELIXIR EXCELERATE project in 2017 and is maintained by The Center for Bioinformatics (SfB) at the UiT The Arctic University of Norway. SfB is hosting the UiT node of ELIXIR Norway. The MarRef, MarDb, MarFun and MarCat contextual databases are built by compiling data from a number of public available sequence, taxonomy and literature databases in a semi-automatic fashion.MAR数据库（MAR databases）是一套经人工整理的海洋微生物背景与序列数据库，依托海洋宏基因组学门户（Marine Metagenomics Portal）搭建。该数据集于2017年作为ELIXIR EXCELERATE项目的组成部分开发完成，由挪威北极大学（UiT The Arctic University of Norway）下属的生物信息学中心（SfB）负责维护。SfB同时托管ELIXIR挪威的UiT节点。MarRef、MarDb、MarFun与MarCat等背景数据库通过半自动方式，整合了多类公开可用的序列、分类学及文献数据库的数据构建而成。
