This is the first M5 earthquake in Oklahoma since the M5.7 Prague earthquake. This earthquake occurred along the extension of a mapped fault, which had 6 M4 earthquakes on a single fault. We would like to deploy sensors around this fault, and examine if this fault is connected with other mapped faults in this area.
