LncRNA-mRNA expression profiles and functional networks of hyposalivation in the submandibular gland in hypertension

Hyposalivation is a complication of hypertension. Although the lncRNA have recently been identified to play a role in the pathogenesis of hypertension, the specific effects of lncRNAs on hyposalivation caused by hypertension remain unclear. The aim of the current study was to construct and systematically analyze the lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA network and reveal its potential roles in hyposalivation. We use high-throughput technologies to screen the lncRNAs and mRNAs in the submandibular gland (SMG) tissues from SHR rats (n=5) compared with WKY rats (n=5). Differential expression lncRNAs and mRNAs were confirmed by qRT-PCR. We constructed a CNC and ceRNA network to reveal the core genes in hyposalivation.
