RNA-Seq of MCF7 treated with Cannabis extract CANN14 for 18 hrs

RNA sequencing of differentially expressed genes from MCF7 cells treated with a Cannabis extract or DMSO control. Hypothesis was ESR1 would be downregulated and genes related to estrogen signaling would be affected. We explored the gene expression profile of each sample to identify significant changes in gene expression between treatment and control groups. The differential expression analysis was conducted using 'DESeq2' R package. Overall design: Analysis of up- and down-regulated genes in RNA-seq data of samples (in triplicates) from MCF7 cells following treatment with Cannabis extract CANN14 relative to DMSO control.
