This dataset is collected for streetlights intended for the main urban area of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, before the luminaires leave the factory, with the objectives of determining the energy efficiency grades of the lamps, adapting to the lighting demands of this specific scenario, guiding the optimization of luminaire design schemes, and improving the energy-saving performance and service life of the luminaires. 1. Data Source: Before the lamps leave the factory, randomly select finished streetlamp products designated for the main urban area of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, and collect parameters including their input voltage, current, luminous flux, and power factor. 2. Data Processing (1) Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) analysis for luminaires based on the collected parameters: The formula for EEI is: EEI = P*PF/Pref = (I*V)*PF/Pref Where P is the rated power of the luminaire, PF is the power factor, Pref is the reference power of the lamp, and Φ_use represents the effective luminous flux of the lamp. The calculation of Pref follows two cases: When Φ_use < 1300 lm: Pref = 0.88√Φ_use + 0.049Φ_use When Φ_use ≥ 1300 lm: Pref = 0.07341Φ_use (2) Energy efficiency grade classification standards: If EEI ≤ 0.11, the grade is A++; if 0.11 ≤ EEI ≤ 0.17, the grade is A+; if 0.17 ≤ EEI ≤ 0.24, the grade is A; if 0.24 ≤ EEI ≤ 0.6, the grade is B; if 0.6 ≤ EEI ≤ 0.8, the grade is C; if 0.8 ≤ EEI ≤ 0.95, the grade is D; if EEI > 0.95, the grade is E. 3. Data Application: The Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) is one of the key indicators for evaluating luminaire energy efficiency. Conducting EEI analysis before the lamps leave the factory can help adapt the luminaires to the lighting requirements of the streetlamp application scenario in the main urban area of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province.
