This study examines online community discussions within Chinese Jiraikei fashion subculture to understand the way community members' definition of counterfeit reflects the construction of subcultural identity, and how counterfeit product consumption influences community structure and boundaries. Through keyword searches and snowball sampling methods, this research collected 55 posts and 233 related comments from RedNote.
