Transmission electron micrograph of a representative sertraline-treated vma9 mutant cell. VMA9 encodes a subunit of the vacuolar-type H+-ATPase (V-ATPase). Sertraline treatment is associated with an increase in electron lucency in vacuolar lumens. (8,000X). An untreated control image of the same mutant is available as CIL: 40450.
