The dataset is used in the paper "Evaluation of atmospheric models using parsimonious network routing model and streamflow observations over mountainous regions: A case study of the Yarlung Zangbo River on the Tibetan Plateau"river_network directory contains the river network geometry and routing model setup data.wrf_data.nc contains the WRF-simulated precipitation and runoffwrf_domain.nc is the modeling domain and terrain altitude within the domainqlat directory contains the lateral flow into the river network.qout_calibration directory contains the calibrated parameters and corresponding streamflow.qout_passthrough directory contains the aggregated runoff.qout_ensemble directory contains the ensemble streamflow simulation and the associated parameters.The fine directory contains the river geometry, properties, lateral inflow, and simulated streamflow from the dense river network.gpm.nc is the GPM IMERG data remapped to match the spatiotemporal resolution of the WRF grid.The code directory contains the Python code for routing and parameter optimization.In wrf_data.nc, there are thirteen experiments.In wrf_experiment.nc, there are seven experiments. 0-4 represents the experimental settings from EXP1 to EXP5 in the paper, 5 denotes the experiment using the run_opt=1 (the others are the same as EXP4), and 6 denotes the experiment initialized with the GLDAS snow data.
