Data set for the manuscript "Urban runoff impacts on benthic communities of a receiving stream"
收藏资源简介:
This data set contains the raw data for a conducted field study about urban runoff impacts on freshwater biofilms and macroinvertebrates. Dataset-Güell: data about the field study conducted with biofilms colonized on artificial substrata (glass tiles) and macroinvertebrates subjected to urban runoff discharging in a reciving stream. Samplings were performed along five samplig times (T1-T5) and in two sites (C, I). Four sheets are included in this dataset: Biofilm variables: include time, site and measured variables, which corresponds to Chlorophyll-a content (Chla, μg/cm^2), Bacterial density viable (BD-V, viable cells/mL), Bacterial density-dead (BD-D, dead cells/mL), Phosphatase activity (PHOS, nmol MUF/cm^2*h), Leucin-aminopeptidase activity (LEU, nmol AMC/cm^2*h), Glucosidase activity (GLU, nmol MUF/cm^2*h), Net Metabolism (NM, mg O2/m^2*h), Respiration (R, mg O2/m^2*h), Basal fluorescence (F0), Photosynthetic efficiency (Y). Algal composition: include algal organisms frequency (1-5), identifyed at genus level, in all sampling times (T1-T5) and sites (C, I). Macroinvertebrate composition: include macroinvertebrate composition, identifyed at class level, in sampling times T1-T3 and sites (C, I). Pollutants: organic and inorganic pollutants quantifyed in both stream (Güell Control, Güell impact) and urban runoff (FF6, FF8, FF12) during the rainfall episode occurred on the 26th of March 2024.
