Soil abiotic properties, not microbial composition or functional gene abundance, determine enzyme activities in alpine grassland soils

This repository contains the complete raw and processed datasets that underpin the manuscript “Soil abiotic properties, not microbial composition or functional gene abundance, determine enzyme activities in alpine grassland soils.” The data were generated from 21 sampling sites collected in July–August 2019 from five representative alpine grassland types (AM = alpine meadow, AS = alpine steppe, AMS = alpine meadow-steppe ecotone, ADS = alpine desert-steppe, AD = alpine desert) on the Tibetan Plateau. All measurements derive from the same batch of 0–15 cm soils, thus eliminating temporal or spatial mismatches among variables.
