Distribution of adult persons for whom a disability has been determined by the VDEĀVK for a first examination

Dataset – “Division of the number of minors with a disability determined by first expert examination by group of disability, term, age and gender”. Information on adults who have been subject to a first disability expert-examination during the reference period and a positive decision of the State Medical Commission for Health and Work Ability Examination (VDEĀVK) regarding a particular disability has been selected. The statistics are obtained from the welfare information system LabIS. The disability group of a person and the term of invalidity shall be determined on the starting date of the decision of the VDEĀVK. A person may have several expert-examinations, disability groups, disability terms and ages during the reporting period. The age of a person shall be determined at the time of the VDEĀVK expert-examination. Year – the reference year for which the information was produced. Month – the reference month for which the information has been prepared. Term of invalidity 0.5 years – the unique number of adults who have been granted the term of disability is “0.5 years”. Term of invalidity 1 year – the unique number of adults who have been granted the term of disability “1 year”. Term of invalidity 2 years – the unique number of adults who have been granted the term of disability “2 years”. Term of invalidity 5 years – the unique number of adults whose term of invalidity is “5 years”. Term of invalidity for life years – the unique number of adults who have been granted the term of disability ‘for life’. Term of invalidity other – the unique number of adults who have been granted the term of disability other than those mentioned above.
