The dataset shared was used to simulate the mechanical environment perceived by cells seeded inside 3D microporous biomaterials. Specifically porous collagen-based scaffolds utilized for skin regenerations and 3D printed scaffolds fabricated by two-photon photopolymerization.Here we include example models that were used in the study, guides on how the models can be used as well as custom code used to generate cell positions within the materials
