Acta Botanica Mexicana publishes original and unpublished works in all areas of botany, including floristics, taxonomic revisions, taxa new to science, ecology, ethnobotany, paleontology, evolution, phylogenetic and phylogenomic studies, conservation, etc. It is aimed at Mexican and foreign botanists who provide information in these areas of knowledge, exclusively about plants and mushrooms native to the American continent. It is published continuously, without pre-established frequency, in electronic format and free of charge.Acta Botanica Mexicana is a publication financed by the Instituto de Ecología, A.C., and is published at the Centro Regional del Bajío of this institution. It is published only in digital format and consultation and publication are free.
