资源简介:
Socio-demographic factors and how they relate with infant mortality rates (IMR) in Nigeria were explored. The dataset for the research was sourced from the 2023/2024 DHS program and the dataset can be readily and freely obtained from https://dhsprogram.com/data/available-datasets.cfm. The data was analyzed using R Studio (v 4.4.1). This is a supplementary material to accompany the manuscript developed from the data, containing two tables and two figures. The first table contains descriptive statistics of the dataset used for this work, and the second contains the results for test of collinearity among the explanatory variables (socioeconomic determinants) and with the outcome variable (infant mortality) which answers the fit of the dataset. There are also two figures; a bar graph indicating the occurrence of IMR by education level, and a forest plot showing the odds ratios, or risk of infant mortality per the explanatory variables.
