Nocturnal and diurnal visitors complement pollination services to dragon fruit (Selenicereus undatus) in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico

This Data_DrafonFruit dataset contains information on the abundance and diversity of floral visitors, as well as the results of pollination experiments conducted in Selenicereus undatus (dragon fruit) crops. The floral visitor data include observational records of insect species visiting dragon fruit flowers, along with their visitation frequency and time of day. The pollination experiments evaluate the effectiveness of different pollination treatments (e.g., hand pollination, open pollination, and exclusion) on fruit set and quality. This Supplementary Data file contains the results of the generalized linear models (GLMs) and generalized linear mixed models (GLMMs) used to analyze the abundance patterns of floral visitors observed in Selenicereus undatus crops. The models evaluate temporal and diel variation in the activity of key pollinator groups (e.g., Apis mellifera and Carpophilus beetles), as well as the influence of sampling day as a random effect. Each model summary includes the fixed and random effects, dispersion parameters, information criteria (AIC and BIC), and pairwise comparisons among time periods based on estimated marginal means (EMMs).
