Over a period of one year, from November 2022 to October 2023, wastewater samples were collected in the district of Giessen (Germany, Biebertal Wastewater Treatment Plant). Sampling was done once a week, taken every Monday over a period of 24 hours. A total of 52 samples were collected, cultivated and subcultivated on selective agar plates (Chromogen-Listeria-selective-agar (OCLA), Oxoid United Kingdom), and identified by MALTI-TOF MS. Whole DNA was extracted and sequenced using Native Barcoding Kits 24 and 96 V14 from Oxford Nanopore Technologies, United Kingdom. Whole genome assembly was performed by Flye with reads basecalled by Dorado (super accuracy basecalling model). Assembled genomes were polished using read mapping within CLC Genomic Workbench.
