Rumen metagenome data of four age groups of Dairy Buffalo

Rumen fluid of 25 milk buffaloes was collected by gastric tube rumen fluid. Buffalo were divided into four groups according to their age: Group Y(12 months old, parity =0), group M(3-5 years old, parity=1), group E(6-8 years old ) and group O(More than 9 years old, including 9 years old, at least 3 parity). These 15 samples were sequenced by HiSeq 3000/4000 instrument(Illumina, San Diego, pairend sequencing). A total of 132.19Gb of raw data and 875,433,084 reads were generated. After filtering out low-quality data and host pollution, each sample contains an average of 8.62Gb (7.48Gb-9.77Gb) of data.
