Supplementary Diversity Data (Southern Ocean Diverstiy Data) Compiles raw species-level diversity data, including hole ID, sample name, sample depth, sample age, taxon name, and a 'value' column indicating the number of observations for each species. Supplementary Data 1: This data sheet compiles species-level raw diversity values, estimated diversity values (based on Chao1), and sample ages for each site targeted in this study. Supplementary Data 2: This dataset provides calculated extinction and origination rates (based on Foote, 2000) for subsets of species shared between different sites, as follows: DSDP 511 + ODP 1090B + ODP 689D DSDP 511 + 1090B + ODP 748B ODP 1090 + ODP 748B DSDP 511 + ODP 689D Supplementary Data 3: This sheet presents calculated Morisita-Horn similarity matrices for each site. Supplementary Data 4: This sheet provides Shannon Diversity and Pielou Evenness values for each sample from the targeted sites, along with the corresponding sample ages.
