Integrated Transcriptomics and Metabolomics Reveal Biomarkers Associated with Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease Progression

This study aimed to identify prognostic biomarkers associated with the progression of autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) by integrating transcriptomic and metabolomic data. By combining these two approaches, the researchers aimed to gain a deeper understanding of the molecular mechanisms driving ADPKD progression and to identify potential biomarkers that could be used for early diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment monitoring.
