Dataset of the effect of skin secretion from 17 amphibian species on human cells involved in joint diseases. After biochemical characterization, secretions were added to to chondrocytes, synoviocytes, and macrophages for 24 hours. Cytotoxicity and the release of IL-6, IL-8, TNF-α, and IL-1β were assessed.
