YAP and TAZ protect against white adipocyte cell death during obesity

Investigation of the effect of YAP/TAZ on white adipocyte survival during obesity Total RNA was prepared using isolated primary white adipocytes from epididymal WAT of wild-type (WT) and Ad-Yap/Taz-KO mice (KO) fed normal chow (NC) or HFD for 4 weeks starting from the age of week 5.本研究旨在探究YAP/TAZ对肥胖过程中白色脂肪细胞存活的影响。实验中，总RNA的制备材料为从5周龄起分别喂食正常饲料（normal chow, NC）与高脂饲料（high-fat diet, HFD）4周的野生型（wild-type, WT）及Ad-YAP/TAZ基因敲除（Ad-Yap/Taz-KO, KO）小鼠的附睾白色脂肪组织（white adipose tissue, WAT）中分离得到的原代白色脂肪细胞（primary white adipocytes）。
