The origin of the X-ray emission in IRAS 16007+8137

GT The aims are: to determine the origin of the Xray emission in the Xrayselected narrow emission line galaxy IRAS 16007+8137; to measure theluminosities of different spectral components; and to relate these properties tothe many higher redshift NELGs XMM will detect serendipitously. The primarymeasurements are high signalnoise EPIC spectra. The selected NELG has one ofthe highest Xray luminosities in the EMSS & RASS samples but no optical broadlines, despite sensitive searches.
