Plant responses to inoculation of Vigna unguiculata with different Sinorhizobium fredii HH103 strains.

Data represent averages of 6 jars. Each jar contained two V. unguiculata plants. Determinations were made 6 weeks after inoculation. For each legume tested, bacteria isolated from 20 nodules formed by each inoculant showed the expected resistance markers.S. fredii HH103 mutants were individually compared with the parental strain HH103 RifR by using the Mann-Whitney non-parametrical test.
