Complete genome sequence of Indian isolate duck enteritis virus (DEV/India/IVRI-2016)

The aim of the study is to develop a cell culture-based live attenuated duck enteritis virus vaccine. So, a field tissue sample of duck enteritis virus was collected during the outbreak in Kerala and the virus was isolated by inoculating a 10 percent tissue suspension into 9day old embryonated eggs and further processed for complete genome sequencing of the DEV isolate.
