The ionospheric photometer IPM is a small, highly sensitive ionospheric remote sensing instrument, which is mounted on the new generation of polar orbiting meteorological satellite FY-3D in China. It uses an off-axis paraboloid mirror with high light gathering ability and combines with a photon counting photomultiplier tube to measure the ionospheric weak glow radiation IPM measured 135.6 nm glow radiation generated by the combination of O+and electron radiation at night, OI 135.6 nm and N2 LBH band glow radiation generated by photoelectron excitation at day, and obtained the peak electron density and total electron content of the ionosphere at night, as well as the column density ratio O/N2 of oxygen atoms and nitrogen atoms in the atmosphere at day. This dataset uses ionospheric photometer nighttime detection data from several magnetic storm events
