Transcriptional Dynamics of Skeletal Muscle in Obesity (PRJCA023478)

Skeletal muscle is a metabolically active organ, but it remains largely unexplored in obesity. Here, we used diet-induced mice as obesity model to investigate the effect of obesity on muscle transcriptional regulation during the weight gain processes or at different anatomical site, and exploring the affects divergence of obesity on muscle among species. We also assess the chromatin architecture of obesity muscle or palmitic acid-induced insulin resistance of C2C12 myotube.
