REDIAM. WMS Standardised Pluviometric Drought Index in Andalusia. Year 1982

WMS service corresponding to the series of monthly layers in raster format of the Standardised Index Pluviometric Drought (IESP) in 1982. This indicator is based on the calculation of accumulated and standardised monthly rainfall anomalies. Although in general the negative values correspond to dry months and the positive ones reflect non-dry months, the following are established categories: IESP > -0.4: Without drought; —1<IESP<=-0.4: Moderate drought; —1,7<IESP<=-1: Severe drought; —2,3<IESP<=-1.7: Extraordinary drought; IESP<=-2.3: Exceptional drought. This information has been obtained in the framework of evaluation, monitoring and characterisation of the climatology of Andalusia. Node of the Environmental Information Network of Andalusia.
