This entry contains the results from the Outer Continental Shelf Study
(OCS) benchmark study in the North Atlantic which ran November to
December 1977 from the R/V KNORR. These data were submitted by Energy
Resources Co.,Inc. in fulfillment of BLM contract #AA550-CT6-51. This
data contains eleven files with different file types and therefore
different reference numbers. The following is a description of the files
and a listing of the reference numbers: file 1 labelled L01001, L130
contains nutrients, temp., sal. and do data; file 2 labelled L00991,
L513 contains %silt, %clay, %grain size, %carbon and %nitrogen in
sediments; file 3,4 labelled L00992, L521 contains tax. code, counts,
egg/larvae; file 5 labelled L00993, L134 contains metals in zooplankton,
water, sediment, macrobenthos; file 6 labelled L00994, L131 contains
lipids, hydrocarbons in water, zooplankton, macrobenthos, sediment,
surface film and ; file 7,8,9 labelled L00995, L504 contains macrobenthic
tax. codes and counts.
