资源简介:
The high-risk clones of Klebsiella pneumoniae producing carbapenemases are spreading throughout the world causing significant nosocomial outbreaks. Increased resistance and/or bacterial tolerance to bactericides, such as chlorhexidine, is causing a public health problem. In this context, the present study aims to analyze the molecular mechanisms associated with adaptation (CA) to chlorhexidine in two strains of carbapenemases-producing K. pneumoniae: ST258-KPC3 (high-risk clone carrying Betalactamase-KPC3) and ST846-OXA48 (low risk clone with Betalactamase-OXA48).
