Galbibacter sp. PAP153 Genome sequencing

The phylum Bacteroidota represents an upcoming, but still under-explored bioresource for discovery of new and novel natural products. They can be detected in diverse habitats and are among the most abundant groups of bacteria present in the ecosystems of the oceans. During our continuous efforts to access new bioresources, strain PAP.153 was isolated from a marine sponge from Cenderawasih Bay National Park, Papua, Indonesia.
