The dataset consists of five main components: sedimentary profiles, surface soil observations, tree ring chronologies, ice core records, and meteorological station data. The database includes 147 sedimentary profiles, 456 surface soil samples, 23 tree ring width index (RWI) chronologies, 5 ice core records, and observations from 73 meteorological stations across the Northeastern Tibetan Plateau (NETP). Sedimentary proxy series and part of the ice core data were digitized from published figures, tables, and open access databases, while original chronological information reported in the source studies was retained in the dataset. Surface soil samples were collected across different environmental gradients in the NETP and analyzed at the Key Laboratory of Western China's Environmental Systems (Ministry of Education), Lanzhou University. Laboratory measurements include grain size, C/N ratios, and stable carbon and oxygen isotopes. Tree ring chronologies and meteorological observations were obtained from the NOAA public database. Ice core records were compiled from the NOAA, China Tibetan Plateau Data Center (TPDC) and published studies and include δ18O and major ionic records. Meteorological station data contain temperature and precipitation observations from 1973 to 2025. This version of the dataset includes revised chronology information, standardized metadata fields, and duplicate checking across different archive types.
