Territorial Scoreboard for the Grand Est Region – 2023 Edition

The publication of the territorial dashboards is carried out as part of the work of the Air Energie Climate Observatory on the Grand East region. This Observatory was born from a collaborative work between the Grand Est Region, the ADEME, the DREAL in order to provide analytical elements to the various actors of the regional territory implementing policies on air quality, climate and energy. It is technically animated and fed by ATMO Grand Est, an accredited air quality monitoring association (AASQA) which, as part of its Regional Air Quality Monitoring Program, annually carries out an inventory of all energy consumption and production as well as pollutant and greenhouse gas emissions, throughout the region and on a communal scale. These inventories are intended to be diagnostic and decision-making tools for the support of state and community services: in particular, they feed into the work of the SRADDET (Regional Schema of Planning, Sustainable Development and Equality of Territories) and the Climate Air Energy Plans (PCAET).Produced inventories are compatible with different reporting formats (SECTEN national format developed by CITEPA but also format required by Articles R.229-51 and R.229-52 of the Environmental Code relating to PCAETs) so that the data produced become reference data for regional and local territorial energy planning policies (Code Env. – Article L. 229-55).
